Welcome to the inaugural International e-Conference on New Normal in Education 2020 (IENNE 2020)! The conference is organized by Mindware PLT and Akademi Pengajian Bahasa (APB) UiTM, Shah Alam. IENNE 2020 aims to bring together experts in the field, practitioners, scholars and various stakeholders to share pertinent issues and challenges in emerging ‘new normal’ in COVID-19 environment. It is a great opportunity to discuss new possibilities for sharing insights and to develop sustainable professional networks at an important crossroad towards new normal education.

The conference features  special keynote addresses that focuses on recent developments and challenges in selected research disciplines.

Prospective authors are cordially invited to submit original and unpublished works for presentation and publication.

SCOPE
The topics cover various issues related to but not limited to the following themes.

1.Education: Distance Learning, Early Childhood Education, Linguistic, Technical and Vocational Study, Distance Education, E-learning, Higher Education, Interdisciplinary Studies, Islamic Studies, Lifelong Learning, Teaching and Learning

2. Business Management: Organisational Growth, Market Performance, Leadership, Employee Turnover, Sustainability, Gig Economy, Innovation, Products and Services

3. Social Science and Humanities: Tourism Management, Sports Science, Communication and Media Studies, Administrative Science and Policy Studies, Anthropology, Arts, History, Cultural History, Humanities, Language, Literature, Local Government, Music, Philosophy, Politics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Social Sciences and Sociology

Researchers from other disciplines are also welcomed.

Note to presenters: Presentations must be related to ‘new normal’ in education.

PUBLICATION
All accepted papers will be published in the conference e-proceeding book (with e-ISBN).

Papers submitted to IENNE 2020 will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Only selected papers will be accepted for publication in Scopus-indexed journals with an additional fee. Papers that do not meet the Scopus-indexed journal requirement will be considered for publication indexed in MyJurnal.

Reminder: Please note that the number of authors for papers submitted should not exceed FOUR. Any papers with more than four authors will be rejected upon submission.

A Best Paper Award will be given to each category (Professionals, Postgraduates & Undergraduates).

The criteria for the Best Paper Award include compliance to the standard paper template (8-15 pages, including research objectives, statement of problem, methodology, and references). Award is also based on the paper with the most significant and novel contribution to existing knowledge. The final decision is the prerogative of the Conference Organising Committee.
